ABOUT THE GAME:

More so than most games in Activision's annual franchise, Infinite Warfare is a story about people. Not nameless, faceless people whose names are shouted now and again, but actual characters who, at least to some degree, you get to know and grow to care about.

This group of soldiers---UNSA Navy and Marines---give everything they have to defeat the wicked Settlement Defense Front, or SDF. Sure, other games in the franchise, like the first two Black Ops titles, had a strong focus on character. But Infinite Warfare takes it to another level, going well beyond last year's Black Ops III or the Kevin Spacey-focused Advanced Warfare, much as it leaps further ahead into the future and into space.

At the same time, Infinite Warfare's campaign often feels a lot like a Modern Warfare game.
